Carl Hohmann Roofing & Siding

Carl Hohmann Roofing & Siding is consistently listed at 700 Millersport Highway in Amherst with (716) 832-8853. BBB records the business as a sole proprietorship, gives alternate names including Carl Hohmann Roofing Co. and C Brian Hohmann, and reports a 1949 start date. Trade directories categorize the operation under roofing, roof replacement, and siding. This task's structured data also points to repair and wind-damage work, but no official website was found to confirm a detailed current service menu. That limited online footprint calls for a direct, specific intake conversation. Describe the roof type, approximate age, active leaks or wind damage, and whether siding is involved. Ask whether the company currently handles the needed material and municipality, who will inspect and supervise the job, and whether labor is performed by employees or subcontractors. A written estimate should document tear-off, decking allowances, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, disposal, property protection, permits, and any siding-to-roof transitions. The directory snapshot showed a 4.7 rating from 14 reviews, with saved excerpts mentioning responsiveness, fair pricing, and referrals. BBB states that the business is not accredited and is not rated because it lacks enough information; non-accreditation is not itself a finding of poor work. Given the sparse public detail, verify current license and insurance requirements, legal name, payment schedule, references for recent comparable projects, material manufacturer, and labor and product warranties before hiring.
