Will EyKuvers work with my particular glasses?
EyKuvers currently comes in two sizes, medium and large, and is compatible with 80% of prescription eyewear on the market. Depending on the shape of your lens, the film may not fit precisely. However, this will NOT hinder the performance or level of sun protection.
What if EyKuvers do not fit my lens precisely?
There may be an adjustment period as you get used to wearing your EyKuvers. Depending on the shape of your lens, the film may not cover your lens fully or it may overlap slightly. As such, there may be an adjustment period as you get used to how the EyKuvers fits over your prescription lenses.
Will EyKuver® scratch my lenses or remove lens coatings?
No! They cling directly to your lens for a non-slip experience, but easily peel off when you are finished using them.
When will I get my order?
We know you can't wait to get your EyKuver order. We usually fill orders within one business day and ship via USPS first class without tracking to keep the cost of shipping down.
Please allow 10 business days from the shipping date of your EyKuvers to arrive. If it has been longer than 10 business days since you received your shipped notification please email us at info@eykare.com. We will work with you to make sure you receive your EyKuvers.
Do EyKuvers block UVA and UVB rays?
Yes, EyKuver blocks the sun's damaging UVA and UVB rays.
Will EyKuvers work on my readers?
Absolutely! EyKuvers work great on both prescription sunglasses and readers.
How long do EyKuvers last?
If you take good care of your glasses EyKuvers can last for several weeks.
What EyKuver tint or color is best for me- Gray or Blue?
Gray is a very popular lens tint because it is suitable on both cloudy and sunny days, providing anti-fatigue benefits and overall protection from glare. They are a perfect choice for outdoor activities, including cycling, fishing, and active sports.
Blue tint enhances the contours around objects and improves color perception, it also can have a calming effect on the eyes. Blue lenses are great for the winter because they reduce glare in snowy conditions.
Can I trim EyKuvers?
Yes, you can trim EyKuver film to fit your lenses more precisely. With the film attached to the backing, trim the film to fit your lense shape. Most people go with the large size when trimming to fit.
Are EyKuvers disposable?
Yes, they are a disposable product at an affordable price point, so you can have multiple sets on hand and never be without sun and glare protection again!
Can I recycle or reuse EyKuver®?
You can reuse EyKuvers® films, but it is recommended to clean them well prior to reuse to avoid scratching your prescription lens.
Are they safe for children?
Yes! EyKuvers® are protective film that adhere to the outside of the lens. They are easy to teach kids how to use themselves! And EyKuvers do not leave a sticky residue. Plus kids can carry them in a pocket or backpack for easy use when moving from indoors to outside activities.
