The initial idea of creating a tinted eyeglass covering that would provide glare and UVA/UVB sun protection was simple enough in concept. However, the actual mechanics of creating a protective film that would be effective, portable and easy to use, while simultaneously preserving the prescription lenses, had its challenges. 

EyKuver is a custom-developed tinted film. Permanent window film provided inspiration, but we had a removable design in mind -- a product that would cling directly to the outside of prescription eyeglasses without scratching, damaging or leaving a residual film on the lens. 

EyKuvers are non-toxic, residue-free and won’t freeze or melt, making them ideal for stashing in your car, backpack or pocket for spontaneous outdoor adventures. They come in two sizes, medium and large, as well as two film colors, blue and gray. While a perfect match is not always guaranteed (or necessary), both sizes and colors will provide sun and glare relief for the majority of prescription eyeglasses on the market.
